Portswood, Southampton

As project managers and funding partners in the LLP, we've secured an option to purchase a redundant shop and fitness centre in Southampton. A planning application is being prepared to redevelop and the aim is to provide a prime retail store with 66 student studios over three upper floors. Depending on the outcome of the application, we hope that the development can be scheduled to be completed so the units can be let for the 2018/19 academic year.

Town centre, Exeter

The owning LLP – with us undertaking the roles of project managers and joint funding partners - has purchased a single storey retail arcade in the centre of Exeter. A planning application is being prepared to redevelop with ground floor retail space and 50 student studios over three additional floors. Depending on the outcome of the application, we hope that the development can be scheduled to be completed so the studios can be let for the 2019/20 academic year.

City Centre, Southampton

We're project managers and funding partners in the LLP which has secured a 'subject to planning' contract to purchase a group of vacant commercial buildings in the centre of Southampton. Our planning application is being prepared to redevelop the site with replacement buildings that will result in four retail stores, a café, over 200 student rooms and communal facilities. Depending on the outcome of the application, we hope that the development can be scheduled to be completed so the rooms can be let for the 2019/20 academic year.

Portswood, Southampton

We've secured a 'subject to planning' contract to purchase this redundant industrial building in Southampton and we're undertaking the project management and funding partner roles in the LLP created for the purpose. We have submitted a planning application to redevelop the site with replacement buildings which will provide 43 self-contained student studios. Depending on the outcome of the application, we hope that the development can be scheduled to be completed so the studios can be let for the 2018/19 academic year.

Katesgrove, Reading

We're project managing and joint funding partner in the LLP which acquired a closed pub in Reading and obtained planning permission to convert the building into four flats. In addition, a planning application has been submitted to redevelop the site to provide a block of 38 student studios. Once planning permission is obtained, we aim to complete and let these for the 2018/19 academic year. The property will then be refinanced to repay the costs of acquisition and development; it will be retained as an investment property.

Town Centre, Andover

Work has commenced on this scheme - which we're project managing - to develop a commercial building in Andover town centre. This will provide new retail and living space, with planning permission obtained for conversion to split the main retail unit into two while converting the upper floors into four one bedroom flats.
